In Connellsville Township, Donald Hann secured the nod for Democratic Committeeman with 5 votes, while Todd Brothers and Kelly Flynn secured 1 vote each.

As for Democratic Committeewoman, Dari Gilpin secured the nod with 2 votes, while Patricia Basinger secured one vote.

As for the Republican Committee, Michelle Porter secured one seat with two votes, while the second seat will be determined at a later date as it is tied at one vote each for Harry Bottomley, Ruth Ann Burd, Tiffany Clark, Ralph Hough, Robert Leiberger. and Gregory V. Weimer.

Connellsville Township 2017 General Election

Todd Miner will more than likely win the seat for the 6-year Supervisor Post,m garnishing 279 Votes (145 Democratic, 134 Republican)

James D. Stephens will likely be the township’s new tax collector with a total of 273 votes, 141 Democraic, 132 Republican

The two auditor seats will depend on the result of write-in contests.

Todd Brothers will also likely be the constable with 275 total votes, 142 Democratic, 133 Republican

Michelle Dawn Porter will retain her sear as Judge of Elections in the township with 240 votes running solely on the republican ticket

Daralynn Gilpin has an 18 vote advantage in the Inspector of Election race with 159, with Mary Francis having 141.

Connellsville Township Election Update

In Connellsville Township Todd Miner will be the lone name on the ballot for supervisor, securing 76 write-in votes on the Democratic ballot and 44 on the republican ballot. Incumbent Tom Cesario, who had announced that he was not seeking re-election, received 25 votes on each ballot as well.

James Stephens, a Democrat, will be the only name on the ballot in November, having secured the Republican nomination as well with 46 write-in votes.
